Ballerburg for Mac OS X is a simple and funny game for two players. The players are kings of two castles which are separated by a mountain. They take turns in shooting their cannons at the other player’s castle.
The aim is to hit the opponent’s king who is well-hidden usually deep inside his castle.
The original Ballerburg was developed in 1987 for the Atari ST by Eckhard Kruse. Although Ballerburg for Mac OS X resembles the original gameplay as closely as possible, it is not only a visually enhanced version and comes with an additional castle library to manage and edit castles and exchange them creations with fellow Ballerburg players.
A selection of Ballerburg castles can be found on our pages with additional castles and user provided castles. Send in yours if you made some!
