Some more cooking tonight. I made my Chinese favourites again: Aubergines with minced meat in black bean sauce and steamed poultry with a ginger-onion sauce. Both of them very yummy. Not making a soup proved not only lazy but reasonable as we had more than enough of the other dishes. The pièce de résistance was a ginger-parfait the recipe of which I got from a magazine a couple of years ago. It's always a winner. And, as the recipe says
like all parfaits now you add half a litre of whipped cream…
