I Love It Because It’s Trash

John Gruber picks up the discussion on how the Finder should handle replacing files and folders. I think his is the most elaborated contribution to the discussion. All the arguments I had come up with are already included in his text. That, plus, with its I love it because it's trash title the post certainly hit a nerve with me.

Let's hope some people at Apple read this and remember it once they've got some spare time after dealing with the real bugs and annoyances in the OS X Finder.
