Is Rendezvous finally starting to take off? While I had only tried it at my parents' place for curiosity so far, I recently saw another computer advertising its web server in Safari's Rendezvous bookmarks menu. I couldn't connect to it in the end but at least I saw something other than my own computer there.
But when I passed the menu while I was at uni today, I saw the configuration web server of a HP LaserJet 2200 printer there. I suppose that's just the way it's supposed to work. I hope we're going to see Rendezvous used in this way more frequently soon.

And TiVo’s newest thing also makes use of it: http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2003/04/20030407170637.shtml
Bookie: Can’t say that it would be useful for me. I don’t usually share my bookmarks anyway.
Hydra: Looks quite cool, though I don’t have any current need for it either. Heck - I rarely ‘see’ another Mac on the network here.
TiVo: Just sounds like a must-have appliance. Too bad we don’t have them in Germany. Yet, hopefully. Sounds like the way forward, particularly considering how much TV sucks these days.
