We walked along the Weser for a while and than had a snack in a popular place right at the river next to a ferry that uses the river's energy to move across and thus doesn't need an engine.

The place was full of motorcyclists who were also drawn out by the sunshine to have a trip around. Thinking of it – I may have been to that place a couple of years ago with Alex when we took a trip on his motorbike.

Afterwards we went to Uslar and bought some of the best cakes in the world, including my favourite poppy seed cake at Café Lücke there. We had the cake and some coffee in our holiday flat there.
