Rotis Sans

115 words

I recently wondered about the name of a font which, with a bit of your help turned out to be Rotis Sans. Following that, I started wondering why the font looked so familiar to me.

I may have found the answer when cycling through town today: It seems to be the font the state theatre uses for its posters (not their web site, though, seems to be done by someone else). As I don't think they're very good and hence don't like going there but yet pass the theatre at least once a day, this may be an explanation why it both looked familiar but I couldn't figure how I knew the font.
