Breakfast

132 words on

I went to have breakfast at a café with Claus this morning. I was disappointed. Who figured that serving slices of kiwi with their skin still on could be a good idea? I'm there to enjoy my breakfast rather than making a fool of myself or getting sticky fingers. Or tearing a slice of ham and hiding it between the salad: This may look nice but has very low usability. Did I mention that most of the fruit slices on the plate weren't quite ripe and hence slightly sour?

In short, the breakfast was a lot of show and nice to look at but very little thought had gone into it. Why does this kind of thing happen so frequently when people consider themselves stylish or chic in some way or another?
