Walking across town after shopping I heard The Strokes' Is this It playing from some living room. I absolutely love hearing music from other people's open windows – particularly if it's nice music. This put me into humming mode.
My current hum is We’re gonna make it through this war tonight. Someone hold this child up to the light. from Adam Green's Musical Ladders. Even Leif has been humming duum, da dum dum da duum duuum, aka The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army lately.
Perhaps it's just humming season.
