Murphy’s Law

101 words

It was a very hot day today. Even when sitting in my ground floor office, my favourite activity was not moving. I left a little early to still be able to buy some bread before the store closed at seven. My departure coincided with a brief thunderstorm that was accompanied by enormous rain downpour. This immediately cooled off the air a bit and washed the dirt off the streets (leaving trails of white dirt). There wasn't any bread left at the store and by the time I arrived home it was quite warm again.

What was the point of all this?
