- Interesting comments for my post on iChat AV.
- Along the same lines as those comments, an article in the New York Times. Most notable, compare the screenshots of iChat with that of its Windows equivalent. Tells you more about the vastly different takes on software design in both companies than a long text would.
- Apparently the Flaming Lips have to pay to Cat Stevens for similarity of their Fight Test song to his Father and Son. Fight Test's motive may sound slightly similar to that in Father and Son and one may even conclude that there is similar sentiment in the lyrics. But stolen? That's a bad joke. Particularly, as Cat Steven's songs have peen popular and influential enough to possibly influence people beyond direct rip-off. Plus, the song is 33 years old, once more showing how silly the whole copyright nonsense has become.
