- Word of the month:
gazebo. I didn't know it and now I ran into it twice in a short period of time – once in an episode of Daria and the other time in one of those Jonathan Franzen essays. I also sounds funny.

A resonable and moderate essay on GMail and its potential implications. In fact this probably gives more of the legal background than you'd usually care for. Privacy issues seem to involve quite a bit of legal hair-splitting. My take will of course remain, that my e-mail should be stored within my reach only. That's the best way to ensure it remains private. And using a free service that probably isn't obliged to do anything for you, just seems a bad idea. One day your e-mail is gone or sold. Tada.
