It's been raining for two days non-stop now. And it's grey and cold. Leaving the shelter of a house – to get lunch, say, – means that you'll be completely wet. This is supposed to be spring!
On my way back from lunch I thought it'd be nicer to sit at home with a nice hot tea listening to some records. But that would have meant an even longer walk through the rain.
Reading this suggests that it's not just the weather that's going wrong.
