It's end of June, it's freaking cold (single digit), it's raining – downpouring rather – on and off all day, I was wet to the bones before I even reached uni this morning, festival ticket has been bought last week, now the weather report is being watched anxiously. After uni and a possibly even interesting talk in the afternoon I'll leave for Bremen, quickly say hello to my parents and then depart for the festival, hoping to avoid the big rush on Friday. Dan an Jean will go there as well. Fun.
Plan for Friday: 19:30 Pixies, 22:15 Mogwai, 23:00 Bowie (he might be worth leaving Mogwai early for...), 0:30 Air.
Plan for Saturday: 12:20 Snow Patrol (always wondred what they were about), 15:00 The (International Noise Conspiracy, 17:40 Franz Ferdinand, 20:30 PJ Harvey, 22:00 The Hives (somehow these clash with BRMC at 21:30), 23:30 The Cure.
Plan for Sunday: 12:20 Mclusky, 14:30 Mando Diao
Those are only the musts... looking forward to sampling another few bands.
