Blast from the Past¶

When cleaning the kitchen last weekend, I noticed the blast from the past above for the first time. Not only does ‘W. Germany’ not exist anymore. These days things will probably made somewhere in eastern Europe or even further away, and like many other things they’ll just be ‘designed in Germany’. I don’t think that information is stamped into the metal anymore. There’ll just be a cheap sticker somewhere.
