Currants¶

Some currants I bought yesterday. They could be used for a brilliant cake or the best dessert ever. But I don’t have the missing ingredients for either around. Washing them before taking the photo and having good lights might have been ways to turn this into a good photo.

Johannisbeeren sind keine Cranberris. Cranberries gehören zu den Heidelbeeren, Johannisbeeren und Stachelbeeren sind verwandt.

Upper Midwest US grower of black currants seeks recipe for Black currant syrup (quite popular in Eastern Europe, if not all of northern Europe)but quite nearly unknown in US. Was seeking blogblot on currants. Love the picture. Black currants not so cheesecake.
