A little iTunes update has come our way. According to Apple’s extremely short release notes it features stability improvements. Not that I care too much because iTunes has been working very stably for me for years now. Of the problems I saw in iTunes 5 it doesn’t fix the artist name sorting problems for non-English ‘The’ bands, so the little fix/patch for it may still come handy.
However, it does fix the problem that shared libraries will only appear in the source list when the Radio option is turned on. Which is nice for me as I never use the radio option but love library sharing.<
Apart from that, a little diff of the versions 5 and 5.0.1 suggests that the only remaining changes are to some help files. Which in turn means we won’t find any new icons of upcoming Bluetooth GPS camera iPods or similar gadgets…
