An amusing notification that my computer gave me recently:
This happened while I was copying stuff around and had both my old and my new computer named ‘Kalle’, which is not acceptable for the network as names should be unique. So one of the computers automatically renamed itself to ‘Kalle (3)’. I thought this was both a good way to handle the situation and – apart from the excessive quotation marks in one place – a good notification which also told me how to re-name my computer again. But I was a bit puzzled by the new name. Why 3?
