This has been coming for a long time. A very long time in fact. Back in early 2004 Chiho sent me a little present from Japan with a number of nice things she got for me. It was wrapped in a gift paper which I quite liked and wanted to re-create on the computer. so I kept a little bit of it but never actually went ahead. Which I did now.
What’s odd about it is that it isn’t particularly pretty once you start looking at it. And the original has even more rough edges than my version of it. But in total it must be the strange (lack of) symmetry that made me think it’s worth keeping. And the colours, perhaps.
