Underground¶

On an escalator in the London Underground. One of the prints I made recently. Naturally it looks better as a 30×40 print than a photo of it does on screen. Unfortunately the photo is a bit blurry as I used an ISO 100 film and needed an exposure time that was longer than ideal when you’re standing on an escalator. But I was more after the atmosphere anyway. I like the Underground.
I could have cropped the photo slightly differently to give a perfectly centred image. That might have been cool as well. Obviously I was more in the mood for something ‘interesting’ at the time.
Bonus question for the London-o-phile: Which tube station was the photo taken in? (See also the discussion by helpful Londoners over at flickr.)
