Of course I’ll never hesitate to quote The Moldy Peaches. But the real point is that we had a great burger barbecue tonight. And it was both reasonably easy to make and rather delicious. Essentially all you need is half a pound of beef mince per person, some burger buns and all the veg and condiments you care for (in our case mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, gherkins, onions and tomatoes). Frying those burgers on the barbecue was of course extra effort but it turned out rather nicely as well. And left everyone quite stuffed.
The evening was complemented by rhubarb crumble, espresso and - ahem another attempt to run that Ultrastar rip-off of the Singstar game. (Which works considerably better in Parallels 3 than it did before, in terms of syncronicity. But running Parallels and hooking up a telly to the MacBook dries out its battery rather quickly! We’ll just giggle at the irony that these days running Parallels on your MacBook may be a simpler way to display Windows applications on a TV than using actual Windows machines is.)
