For some reason I felt compelled to do a bit of cleaning on top of the fridge. While I was at it I thought I could just order the spice packages standing there to make things look nicer and to make finding things easier.
It appears that we have at least six packs of curry powder – all them almost unused. And I don’t even like curry, so that’s definitely not my fault. We also have four pepper grinders, huge amounts of Herbes de Provence and oddball spirits from around the world which people brought back from their holidays (the fact that those with questionable tastes stick around for a long time suggests that we are not suffering from serious alcohol addiction).
