“Photographer”

47 words

SanDisk ad

This SanDisk ad 5 office parties, 12 embarrassing videos, 1 ex-girlfriend wasn’t outrageously funny but still funny. The quotation marks they put around the words Photographer and Director made me think they do have a sense of humour, though.

[And what’s the strange typeface they are using?]

What the font suggests URW Grotesk T Extra Light Wide (their new myfont site is great!) but that’s not at all correct as the k, f and r are miles off. I don’t know, I give up. What typeface is it?

If it’s in an advert it’s usually given the umbrella name of “Bullshit Sans Serif”. That’s what one of my marketing buddies told me, and he never lies.

I think it might be Chalet London 1980 from House industries.
