Boarding Passes

121 words on

I like reading Boarding Pass for flight KL593 from Amsterdam to Cape Town- I also like flying. So reading a book while being on a plane seems like a good idea. Doing exactly that I discovered that airplane boarding passes make rather good bookmarks - and may be the only reasonable bookmark at hand while crammed into the joys of economy class.

So, for a couple of years now, I've been keeping my aiplane boarding passes and other travel tickets (British rail's are about the same size for example) to use them as bookmarks. Apart from being useful in their own right, it also attaches certain memories to different books.

Hence I'll add the bookmark's description in the entries where I write about books, whenever applicable. Yet another quirk.
