Welcome to the incomplete collection of stuff I do or did.

	earthlingsoft is Sven-S. Porst and me developing more or less useful applications for macOS and iOS in our spare time.
	I am a co-founder and managing director of pixolus GmbH.
	I worked as a video coding research engineer at Panasonic R&D Center Germany, participating in the standardization of H.265/HEVC.
	I worked as a research assistant at the Institut für Nachrichtentechnik (Institute of Communications Engineering, Prof. Ohm), where I also did my PhD on video coding. My list of publications is currently hosted there. My work focused on algorithms for improving coding efficiency relative to H.264/AVC. I was responsible for RWTH Aachen’s technology proposal to the Call for Proposals on Video Compression Technology for H.265/HEVC.

	Die Bolzbolde are a simulated football team that Ulrich and I developed for the RWTH RoboCup-Tournament (original Link is defunct, but the Wayback Machine has a copy) in 2000.
