With both of my parents having turned 60 in the past month, them coming over to visit and of course myself indulging in fish on rice, I have had unusual amounts of good food in the past month. This included excellent greasy bits of duck and goose which my mom brought from France – just scooping their fat on baguette is delicious... and took me to good restaurants in Bremen and Göttingen.
All very nice. I hope I didn't get used to it too much – so I won't have difficulties the usual university restaurant grub in the future. But I must say, that eating well is very enjoyable.
