“Bling” is just the latest example of mainstream America attempting to appear hip by co-opting Black slang. It’s only been going on for 200 years or so. :)

- I wonder what they’re smoking in the OED offices these days.
- Personally I always wondered what it would sound like to have the Beatles singing along with J.S. Bach and with GarageBand I hope to find out.
- Those chaps on Ars are brigands and I don’t go there for that reason. Time for me to get back to conjugating “to be.” Steve
