It must have become quite a bit colder since I returned from the railway station. Sleet has turned into snow since and everything is white outside. Although it's in the middle of the night, that makes it quite light out there and owing to the time of day as well, the surface of the snow is still untouched.
Let's see what happens tomorrow. We might just have a white new year.
