Being in for a slow evening yesterday, Leif and me went to the video store and took out The Acid House, based on three short stories by Irvine Welsh, one of which was seriously fucked up, and My Own Private Idaho, which people kept saying is quite good but we had never seen. I thought, it had a couple of interesting and cool bits but just dragged on forever.

Die Zeit writes about the dangers of Alcopops, particularly for young people – and don't even mention that they simply taste foul and degenerate. They also have bit on the Hubble Telescope, including a couple of images. Last week they ran an interesting bit on foreign students in Germany, btw. As for entertainment, they mock the old-age Rolling Stones, and have a blurb on Radiohead who released their new album this week.
