Europe is doomed according to an article linked to here. There may be problems but I fail to see how not having an obscenely huge army is one of them.

Don't miss this week's installment of TWAS on The New Pornographers and The Notwist. I listened to The New Pornographers at the record store the other day and wasn't too impressed. Probably I skipped the great songs. The Notwist are good as well. I like their previous album better than the current one, though.
An old passer-by just stopped at my window and told me that I shouldn't be at my office this time of the day. He also told me that computer screens are bad for my eyes.
