Who would have thought that reading the business section of the paper could be so much fun: Die Zeit has an Interview with Michael O'Leary, boss of 'no-frills' airline Ryanair. The guy is swearing throughout the interview.

Numbers don't lie, guns don't kill. Or what. Also amen about the remarks on overweight people who don't know how to dress. Although it may be called 'fashion' these days.

There are two steps in the discrimation of fat people that I aspire... First there is a line between being overweight and being fat/obese. Crossing that line is not acceptable. Ask your neighbour in coach class whether you've crossed it or not. But even on the 'acceptable' side you can lose your credit by not dressing appropriately.

We saw New York Stories on telly yesterday. Three short films set in New York, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorcese and Woody Allen. Woody Allen is one of the few people who can gasp for breath and say
I need air. I need cyanide.
without seeming completely ridiculous. The film reminded me of Four Rooms on several occasion for different reasons.
