I tried to put that TypeKey thing on my site. – Just so I don't need to approve all of my own comments. Is it possible that the service is at least one of crappy and severly underdocumented (which is crappy as well, I guess)? Is this actually a service? I mean the web site is contradictory about whether is exists or will exists... causing me to waste my time with what seems to be an impossible quest to integrate it into my not-100%-out-of-the-box MovableType setup. Bah.
We also see slight changes to my CSS. Less contrast in the link bars at the left and right as to distract people less. I suppose nobody is looking at them anyway (are you?). Please inform my of any faux-pas I may have committed.
Ars technica write something about products that don't even exist yet. Vapourware galore. Can't people just ignore that Longh*rn word? How many of the almost 2 million occurrences on Google contain information rather than speculation, marketing or FUD? And I thought the VHS vs. Beta question was settled by the wider range of porn available on the former.
It's good to know the difference between a fact, an opinion and a hole in the ground as some would say. More on that soon.
The Register has a dull story (well, I guess I would've been a Smalltalk person, had I been born early enough) with a quality ending:

Would this be enough to persuade visiting Martians, seeing our 30-stage CPU pipelines, Windows registries and nine incompatible versions of the arse-feed, to put away their death lasers? Perhaps.
While I'm all for reasonable traffic control and the main pitch of the article, this suggestion may go a little too far. I simply hate it when machines suggest they know better than I do. If they want to go for intelligence in cars, please build one that drives automatically.
