I think we have a new verb. It is to couch.
It describes an activity that involves sitting – better even hanging – on a couch or similar device. That activity is known as couching. It’s a slightly less directed activity than procrastination.
A typical couching device is a remote control. Optionally, food and recreational drugs can be consumed in moderate amounts (excessive amounts would be too much effort). Advanced practitioners can combine the above points or even handle multiple remotes.
We hope that couching will be Olympic in 2008.
