Ugh

157 words

Watching the news today showed us that southern Germany is drowning, Portugal is burning and people are surprised that cyclists might be doped. In total that’s quite depressing. Friends of mine also saw a newspaper report where it was claimed that this summer’s weather has been quite good on average… which might be true but indicates that the average may not be a good thing to use when assessing the weather.

And now for something completely different: Suppose I’m making up a tour for an imaginary band. It should be through reasonably cool small clubs. Which ones do you know of and would put on such a list?

Bonus question for computer experts: How much power does RAM use in computers? How will an extra 512MB of memory affect the battery life of a portable computer? Answers to this question seem to be hard to find on the web or with people selling RAM. Does nobody care?

‘Suppose’? Yeah, right. Apart from The Colloseum, I would well recommend downstairs at CB2’s in Cambridge. Espers played there last week. Mmm nice. When are the Waffles playing next?
