Transparency¶

Transparency was (or in some places still is) hot in computer software. And to a certain degree it is hot in hardware as well. Yet, I was somewhat chilled when taking out a CD which I burned years ago and seeing that it was almost transparent. That’s a bit scary:
It did work just fine though. I remember that I once had a pack of CD-Rs which were quite transparent but I didn’t remember them to be that transparent. Let’s hope it’s more a memory issue than the CD fading.
