My bet is on a network enabled new version of Ballerburg. But it could also be something concerning telephones, ashtrays, and other office appliances…
Nice bet… unfortunately that not it (in fact Steffen had a network enabled version of BB ready a few years back, but it somehow broke in the course of system upgrades and server changes since… and has unfortunately never been released).
It’s nothing major… but I’ll post on it in the next days if everything works out well.
is it that you have an icon rather than an application name? where did you get this hack? i could use the menubar space!
I’m using FruitMenu. It’s a haxie and at $10 it’s not exactly cheap, but I really dislike the OS X application menu with its waste of space and changing width, so it was worth it for me.
FruitMenu also gives you back a customisable Apple menu that deserves the name. In fact I think that’s the original point of this haxie and the improved application menu is just an extra :)
OK, we finally released it, an updated version of our Quartz Composer plugin that gives you access to the sudden motion sensor.
Now compatible with MacBooks as well.
