It’s November now and that was easy to tell this morning. Not only did the weather report on the radio announce 4-8° only, along with storms and recommendations for winter tyres in the mountains, it was also grey cold and windy outside. Really unpleasant. Particularly after having had a rather nice and warm October, the cold air just feels painful with the fingers starting to hurt after just a few hundred metres of riding on the bike.
November also seems to be a really strong month for touring bands. There are so many gigs of great bands – and most of them just aren’t within reach.
Now excuse me while I’m depressed.
Next week I’m visiting Fairbanks, Alaska, where it’s currently -6° :)
Alaska sounds cool (sorry for the pun…)
Is that -6°C or -6°F (which would be a shuddering -21°C as I just learned)?
