Apparently, a study found out that German s laugh most. While this may or may not be true, they probably laugh loudest, though. The article concludes that Germans have the strongest sense of humour. I very much doubt that - thinking that they're just not very picky about what they laugh about.
One of the favourite jokes in Germany was: "Why is television called a medium? Because it is neither rare nor well-done."
Actually, I find this quite funny. Ironically it doesn't translate into German. Also, it seems, that Belgians are almost mathematicians:Belgians laughed at: "Well, you see, there are basically three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count and those that can't."
