See through

First thing happening today at uni was actually people coming around and cleaning the windows. This was necessary but still quite a surprise. After all the people running the university would rather see our historical building rot away to force us to move into a new building out in the science ghetto, which nobody really wants as a new building would for sure be inferior to the current one. Bastards.

Later on I gave a bad seminar talk on vector bundles on the complex projective plane. Luckily my boss filled in some interesting details as well as some enlightening overview facts. In yet another seminar, we were shown how to acutally compute some rational homology groups. Quite interesting and good to see that you can actually do it rather than just working through the theory as we've done so far.
