After tremendously enjoying the Beach House gig at this year’s Haldern festival, it was tempting to go and see them again. Which I did, in Hamburg’s Uebel & Gefährlich.
The support band were Jack November who played a funky table top (Indian?) harmonium. Not overly exciting, but reasonably nice.
After a short break, the lights in Beach House’s tetrahedral stage decorations were turned on and we could drift away in an hour of their music and regret not living in the 1970s.
Being located in one of the upper floors of an old bunker, Uebel & Gefährlich is a cool and surprisingly spacious location. On our way out we had to use the staircase …
