Allgemein

General

I started my studies in Mathematics and philosophy at the University of Göttingen, Germany in 1997. In 1999 I achieved my 'Vordiplom' (roughly equivalent to a B.Sc.) and continued my studies at the mathematics department of the University of Warwick where I finished my MSc in Mathematics in 2001. Since January 2002, I am studying in the work group of Victor Pidstrygach at the "Graduiertenkolleg" on groups and geometry in Göttingen.

My mathematical interests lie mainly in the areas of geometry and topology. Recently I have been studying symplectic geometry and I hope to deepen my knowledge of that subject as well as proceed to work on the subject of mirror symmetry.
